For some people, poetry REALLY IS a CURSE. We write our pain in the form of poetry or rhymes and people say “awesome”, “incredible” etc. and it increases the pain. But then we get some people, who try to understand the reality behind the words and ask us, “Hey, what happened?” and after hearing the reason, they either come up with a solution or distract our mind to reduce our pain.
You just wrote the truth.✌

I suppose In many cases poetry is presenting ur life’s misery in less uglier way so that people would be able to accept it or relate to it..u can lay ur suffering in front of the world for the raw bleeding mess it is and they will be appalled..but dress ur wounds in linen and put a rose on it the people would stop to admire it..they won’t feel the shit u felt but they would admire it..same goes to paintings too..so I guess the point u were trying to make with this poem is rather valid 🙂

This might be my favorite one yet. It’s interesting actually, I think I like this so much because this writing style is very similar to my own! Not that I write poetry, or whatever this is. My style is more like “pacing the sentences” so that the build up at the end of the scene is the most intense. You did something very similar here.

Wow! Poetry is chaos… I never thought of it that way, but you forced me to recollect all those times when I wrote poetry while I was pain and angst ridden. Thank you for showing me yet another facet of this beautiful medium of expression.

The most meaningful pieces of rhymes, always gathered and formed into bits and pieces of poetry, when the storms raged fiercely in my mind!
I quietly ignore the questions that ask for my name so they’ve named me QueenD, MissDarkJi and all sorts a names! 🙈 hahaha.. and yes D is none other than Darkness! 😄

Darkness is the core of everything you find dear.. darkness is eternal and the abyss beneath whatever that you fear! When you embrace the darkness you embrace your fear and there no longer lies anything in existence that will hurt you!
