Beautiful painting and that poem has fitted like a charm 🙂 u can paint as thought provokingly as u can write and when the two combines magic begins ..
Flapped my wings against searing light
In hopes of reaching unreachable heights
But I was greeted by heavens hateful scorn
In that fiery brightness my wings were tarred and torn
Crashing thru smoke with dirt in sight
Losing all the faith mid flight
Learned only darkness could atone
In her warmth I was promptly reborn

……writing comment after staring at this painting for a good 5 mins now…and this painting is still in my mind as i write this….and will be going back to look at it again after posting this comment….Brilliant work!!!!…and oh that expression on the face!! Says so much….how do you come up with such thoughts on colors and paper?!!!
